I’m afraid of using AI because I don’t understand it
AI tools may seem intimidating but, ChatGPT for example, has a chat interface. If you use WhatsApp or similar messaging service then you can already use ChatGPT.

Proofread and grammar check your content
Prompt ChatGPT to proofread and grammar check some content for you, you can use this prompt
Please proofread and check the grammar of the following text. Correct any errors and suggest alternative word choices where necessary.
Then, in your next prompt, provide the text you want checking. You can continue to make additional requests after the check such as:
Can you redo the proofread and grammar check and ensure the content uses active voice.
Once you have a prompt that includes all the proofreading and grammar checking you want just save the prompt for future use. No need to pay for grammar checks anymore!
The text deliberately contained grammar errors and adverb-noun phrases. ChatGPT fixed the grammar errors and replaced the adverb-noun phrase “very difficult” with the verb “struggle”.
You can keep adding to the prompt until ChatGPT proofreads text in exactly the way you want it to.

I will provide you with some text and you will replace all adverb noun phrases with a suitable verb that maintains the meaning of the sentence. Don't make the changes instead list the changes you would make. Understand?
